1. What is Rise For Restaurants?

#RiseForRestaurants is an initiative by NRAI to support the vast number of employees that make up the Indian restaurant industry, through the challenging times of the Covid-19 lockdown. The industry is optimistic to get back on its feet soon but until then, the priority is to take care of restaurant employees who depend on restaurants for their livelihood.

2. What is Virtual Cash and how does it help?

Virtual Cash works like a digital wallet where you will be buying value of 1000 but spending only 750. You'll pay only 250 now and the balance 500 when you dine at your favourite restaurant.

The proceeds from Virtual Cash purchases ensure immediate revenue for restaurants to meet the essential expense of employee wages while they remain closed, and you can look forward to a delicious discounted restaurant meal when better days come.

3. How long is my Virtual Cash valid?

Your Virtual Cash is valid for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase of voucher or end of lockdown in the respective city, whichever is later.

4. How much Virtual Cash can I buy?

As much as you want, from as many restaurants as you'd like! The more Virtual Cash you buy from restaurants, the more you support the F&B industry, its employees and their families.

5. Where and how can I redeem my Virtual Cash?

You can redeem your Virtual Cash only at restaurants from which you purchased it, within 6 months of purchase. However, there is no limit on the number of Virtual Cash spends per table. There is no minimum bill amount. When you next visit the concerned restaurant(s), present your Virtual Cash to the establishment while paying the bill, and pay less. For now, stay home, stay safe and keep buying Virtual Cash!

6. How often can I redeem my Virtual Cash?

You can redeem as much Virtual Cash as you have purchased on your visit(s) to the restaurant(s), provided you are redeeming it at the establishment from where you bought it. The value of a single Virtual Cash denomination cannot be redeemed in parts and must be redeemed for the entire amount it is worth.

7. Will I receive cashback on an unused Virtual Cash amount?

If your dining bill amount is lower than the value of the Virtual Cash you are redeeming, you will not be refunded the difference. Virtual Cash cannot be encashed. Do justice to your Virtual Cash purchase by ordering plenty!

8. Can I cancel/transfer my Virtual Cash purchase?

Virtual Cash purchases are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be cancelled once purchased. We trust that when you buy Virtual Cash, you have firmly pledged the amount to supporting restaurants in their time of need. 9. Can the Virtual Cash be used for delivery or in conjunction with any other offer?

Rise for Restaurants is an initiative that hopes to help you and your employees stay on your feet as we tide this over.

2. How can my brand partner with Rise For Restaurants?

3. What is Virtual Cash and how does it help?

Virtual Cash works like a digital wallet. The customer will purchase 1000 in value but spend only 750 i.e. the customer receives a 25% discount while dining at your restaurant. For this, the customer will pay 250 at the time of purchase and the remaining 500 will be paid when they dine at your restaurant.

The proceeds from Virtual Cash purchases ensure immediate revenue for you to meet the essential expense of employee wages while you remain closed. The customers in turn can support your restaurant and look forward to a delicious discounted meal when better days come.

4. How will I receive my payment for customer purchased vouchers?

Payment will be directly credited to the bank account provided in the form within 3 days of the customer purchase.

5. Is there a commission charged by NRAI?

No! You will receive full dues minus standard payment gateway charges. This initiative is for and by the restaurant community.

6. How long is the Virtual Cash valid for?

Your Virtual Cash is valid for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase of voucher or end of lockdown in the respective city, whichever is later.

7. How can a customer redeem Virtual Cash?

Customers will show you the Virtual Cash Voucher at your restaurant within 6 months of purchase. Each voucher has a unique code that can be fed into an online dashboard for verification.

The value of a single Virtual Cash denomination cannot be redeemed in parts and must be redeemed for the entire amount it is worth. If the dining bill amount is lower than the value of the Virtual Cash being redeemed, you are not bound to refund the difference. Virtual Cash cannot be encashed.

8. Can a customer cancel a Virtual Cash purchase?

Virtual Cash purchases are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled once purchased. It is yours to help you support your employees. We trust that when you sign up for the program, you will use these resources for its intended purpose.

9. How do I view live / redeemed Virtual Cash?

Brands will have access to a merchant dashboard panel for the same.

10. Can the Virtual Cash be used for delivery or in conjunction with any other offer?
